Under the Water Quality Monitoring and Survey Programme, samples of public drinking water are collected twice a year before the monsoon (November to May) and after the monsoon (June to October) under the Gram Panchayat and sent to the sub-divisional laboratories for biological testing. Also, samples of public drinking water are sent to the sub-divisional laboratories for chemical analysis from October to March. Samples of school, Anganwadi, F. H. T. C. and public drinking water are collected and these samples are subjected to biological and chemical analysis using F. T. K. kits. Water samples are collected through W. Q. M. I. S. app by the Jalsurakshak and sent to the sub-divisional laboratories for testing. Also, cleanliness survey campaigns are conducted twice a year before the monsoon (April 1 to April 30) and after the monsoon from October 2 to October 31. After this survey, green, yellow or red cards are given to the Gram Panchayats.
