Vision and Mission

Taking into account the representations received from time to time regarding unplanned roads, a plan is prepared for the repair and improvement of rural roads and buildings owned by the ZP and road improvements subject to the provisions of the ZP budget. According to the available funds according to the provision head wise, the works in the plan are approved by the ZP Subject Committee and the budgets are submitted for administrative approval.

Objectives And Functions

• According to the works suggested by the people's representatives, complaints/requests received from time to time, damage and other emergency situations, and instructions received from the government from time to time, a road survey is conducted at the district level and a list of necessary road works is prepared in order of priority.
• To carry out works from the funds received from the government under various schemes, a plan-wise plan of necessary works is prepared as per the priority in the PCL register, as per the availability of funds and the criteria of the scheme.
• Budgets are submitted for administrative approval after approval of the relevant department.
